There are many different species of birds in Guyana. These were spotted near the seawall. Snowy Egrets and a Scarlett Ibis.
Mashramani is a celebration after hard work. It happens in February and is enjoyed by everyone in Guyana. There are parades and 'jump bands with dancers'. Vendors sell snacks and libations. The floats represent the different cultures in Guyana.
